"When our stress levels begin to rise, we secrete a hormone called cortisol. When cortisol is released we crave sugar, caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol and basically anything which will temporarily calm us down."

Are you an emotional eater?

When we don't handle our stress well, our body must compensate. Anything that is suppressed will ultimately be expressed in some form. Heart disease, for example, kills more women in America than the top cancers combined. Binge eating and obsessive dieting are linked to stress. Although some stressors may remain constant; such as family interaction, time demands and perceived life challenges-- we control how we deal with stress and ultimately to do this is through diet by eating foods that are rich in nutrients, high in adaptogens (natural substances that lower cortisol and help the body deal with stress), antioxidants to protect our cells from oxidative stress, vitamins to support health body systems, amino acids to build muscle and enhance brain function, a healthy level of sleep, exercise, and water to flush out impurities."

Macro Huh? Micro What?

The Non-Essential nutrients are nutrients that you body can produce internally from food sources.

The Essential nutrients the human body requires include vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats (essential fatty acids), water and oxygen.

Essential nutrients are nutrients required for normal body functioning that cannot be synthesized directly from the body and must be obtained from a dietary source. These nutrients are separated into macro-nutrients and micronutrients based on the amounts that are required for their function.

My recommendations are simply recommendations that have shown tremendous success for hundreds of clients I've coached. Every individual is different, so a more personal consultation over the phone is necessary to get started.

Holistic versus Allopathic

Nutrition provides us with the energy and nutritients necessary for daily function regeneration of body tissue and for all life sustaining chemical processes to occur. Nutrition is comprised of the sum total processes of ingestion, digestion, absorption and assimilation.

What is Nutrition?

Essential and Non-Essential Nutrients

Nutritional Cleansing incorporates systems that are a ground-breaking path to healthy weight loss and designed to gently rid the body of potentially harmful impurities, while infusing it with essential vitamins, botanicals and other natural ingredients to help shed pounds naturally without the use of laxatives, stimulants or diuretics.**

Nutritional Cleansing

Wondering how you can take your good and get to great? Nutrition can have an unequivocal impact on your results and can be a huge underlying factor on the way you feel. Unfortunately, much of the foods in our society are genetically modified, laden with fats and toxic ingredients that go unseen by the general public. I approach Nutritional Counseling with the general applied nutritional guidelines and incorporate nutritional cleansing into everyday life styles for optimal results. My Nutritional recommendations come from a Holistic standpoint rather than allopathic.
